It is proposed that Net Academy Trust takes over Waltham Holy Cross School next May.
In a report shown to us, this trust is one of the worst performing Multi-Academy Trusts (MATS) in the country and the proposed merger is totally against the wishes of the majority of parents and teachers. The Trust’s proposals (include among others a longer school day and selling off part of the grounds) these are not welcomed by either the staff or parents and there is now an organised campaign attempting to stop the merger.
If you are concerned as we at WARA are, there is a public meeting being held on Monday 3rd December at the Waltham Abbey, Town Hall at 6pm, where you will hear more about the proposals. We ask all our followers if can, please attend this meeting to hear more of what the staff and parents object.
Please visit the saveourschool.org.uk if you wish to sign the petition against the proposals.
